People often assume that a child diagnosed with asthma will do worse with a cat in the house. But it’s not true, according to a new study out of Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Researchers followed about 200 children ages two through 17 who were diagnosed with asthma and had a cat (or dog) in the home.
